Working Foreman

Emphasis is placed heavily on teamwork to work in close collaboration with our clients to deliver projects enjoyably, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Site-based supervising projects up to the value of £3 million
  • Assisting the Project Managers to ensure that the projects are completed safely, on time, to budget and to the highest standard of workmanship.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of employees, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Daily site control
  • There will be requirements to carry out skilled and unskilled labouring task as part of the role.


To be considered for this position the candidate should ideally;

  • Hold a current SSSTS qualification / SMSTS preferred.
  • Full First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness
  • Have strong Communication Skills
  • Driving licence and own transport is essential.


  • Time served.
  • Experience in reading drawings & written instructions.
  • Ability to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • To be able to work independently or as part of a team.


  • Permanent – Monday-Friday; (45 hours per week + overtime available)
  • 28 days holiday per year. This includes the 8 statutory public/bank holidays as normally recognised by England.
